Had a breakfast after arriving at the Central Hotel Berlin. Went shopping in the
morning at tiffin out at a German restaurant where they gave us more than enough
to eat. Went for a trip in a Charabanc around the streets of Berlin. Saw the
wonderful Avenue of Statues and some very beautiful avenues. Nora bought a
black coat with fur collar at Tietz the second largest shop in Berlin. Had
dinner in the Grill Room and later went into the dance hall. A ripping orchestra
played and there was a special couple doing variety dancing. We had spotlight dances and we all danced with each other. We did not get to bed till after 12 PM
after a lovely evening. Our first public dance for several
years.
