27 Friday (118-248)
We went into Bournemouth to buy Phyllis's wedding
present. We bought two lovely silver entrée dishes which we hope she will like
and Nora and I are giving her six silver spoons and Mrs. Nash bought a cut glass
vase to give her. I stayed with the children in the afternoon and Nora went out
with daddy and Mrs. Nash. We bought a little powder box which we are going to
send to Hilda. Mrs. Nash has still a lot of moving to do yet. The trunks came
over this evening from 12 Pinecliffe Avenue.
