2 Wednesday (123-243)
We stayed in this morning as it didn't look too inviting outside. I just went to
buy some fruit at the Carbury stores and a few oddments. Mrs. Nash, daddy and I
went into Bournemouth in the afternoon and we had tea at "Beale's" and had a Sunday
each two. I had a "Pineapple Surprise", and it was a surprise to! There was
nothing but pineapple in it. Mrs. Nash had a "Raspberry Temptation" and daddy had
a "Beale's Special". I think that his was the best. I have now finished another book
called the "Web of Toil" a most interesting and amusing book, though sad in parts.
We have now been back a week in Southbourne.
