4 Friday (125-241)
Full moon, 9.12 p.m.
Mrs. Nash and I went
shopping and daddy went out on his own. After tiffin we read till 3 o'clock and
all went by train to fetch Nora from school, and daddy stayed at home to receive
us. Nora was ready waiting for us at 3:30 and as I was told to fetch her at 10
to 4 she had to wait some minutes. Nora brought out my tennis racket and
various other articles so we certainly had our hands full. We arrived back here
at 4:45. After tea we sat in the garden and talked about our trip back to
Shanghai and various matters about our flat out there. We all had dinner
together again as we did in the holidays.
