8 Friday (160-206)
Iris came to fetch Nora at 3:30 PM. We walked
down to the Square and bought some cakes from Bobby's. We arrived back at 4:30.
Then we had tea. Just as we were finishing the "Skeet crowd" turned up and so we
prepared tea for them as well. They left us at about 6:30 PM. After supper we
went to the Hippodrome and saw "The Joker". It was a detective story and had quite
a plot to it. It was really quite thrilling. When we came out of the theater we
discovered it had been raining. We arrive back at about 1130. We all enjoyed
ourselves.
