At 10:30 we all went to the hairdresser's. At 11:30 we went downtown. Iris bought a blouse. We met daddy later and went to the headland near the "Hotel Bristol" After lunch we went by bus to Mawgan.
We only had 1/2 hour there and thus did not have time to see much of the village.
2:30 p.m.
We walked via the R. Gannel to Crantock. The scenery was beautiful. On our way it began to rain but it soon cleared up again. We went into Crantock Church. It was very quaint and worth seeing. The screen had a very fine line of figures on it carved in wood. There was an old font dating back to the 14th century and also an old stone coffin. In the churchyard on the N. side we saw a pair of stocks which had previously been used in the village. Crossed over by ferry.
