Lammas Fire Insurance ceases
The Misses
Hammertons and Georgette arrived. Iris, George, Jacques and self had a set of
tennis.
Next we all walked up to the Cleave and missed the Hammertons. Saw
them at last. Nora fetched rest and lost way. Wandered for miles. Had lunch.
Walked over Cleave. Scenery lovely. Returned. Had tea in Par. Played five sets
of tennis. Glorious. ( although stiff after )
After supper went for a walk.
Moonlight. Bracing walk. Enjoyed selves thoroughly.
