We went shopping in the morning. Nora bought and evening dress at C&A and two morning frocks. Iris bought nothing.

In the afternoon Jimmy came round. We went by bus to Richmond. Had tea at the "Maids of Honor Tea Room"

Cakes quite nice. Not as nice as Bakewell cakes. Went by bus to Kingston etc. Back through Busby. Dinner here. Talked.
