New moon, 4:55 AM
We were down to breakfast at
9:30 AM. After that we went to the Louvre Hotel about charabancs but they did
not have them anymore. Then we went by taxi to Thomas Cook's and then to the
hotel again. In the end we took a taxi for 200 francs to Fontainbleau for the
day. We stopped at the hotel Charmantes, Barbignon for lunch and also saw Millets house.
The palace at Fontainbleu was very interesting. Then we drove
back to Paris and to the Eiffel Tower and ascended it. We went right up and
then had tea in the restaurant there. We came back to dinner. After that we
wrote our letters and then of course we retired to bed like the girls.
