20 Friday (20-346)
We had a letter from Daddy today. He told us that they were moving into their
new office and that Iris should soon work in a very swish office. He told
us about his Christmas party also. He is getting thrilled for his departure for
England and so are we.
Nora and Iris went out with Gertrude this afternoon and
had a nice walk though it was drizzling hard with rain.
We played "Hear My Prayer" in the common room and everyone was so quiet that we must make a note of
it. We played many of the other records too until her bedtime.
