25 Wednesday (25-341)
We had prayers at 9:15 AM because of the Corporate Commission which made some
girls late. We had no letters at all. We went up to the playing fields at 2 PM
to play netball and returned at 3 PM. Gertrude was waiting for us. We found out
that she is going to be married to a man named Starky and we congratulated
her.
We went to singing from 3:30 to 4 PM. We both wore our new dresses to
dancing and everyone like them. We found that there were several changes in the
dancing and so we will have a lot to learn this term. We learned "The Rhythm" which is very fascinating.
