Bank Holiday in Scotland
Nora and daddy and I got up at 7 o'clock and had breakfast at 7:30 AM. We
rushed off to catch the train for school. We had to get off at the Square and
run to school as our times were slow. Well, Nora is back at school for another
five days and I shall fetch her on Friday. At 11 o'clock we went over to look at
Billy's school. The matron and miss today showed us around. It's a very nice
school. We all went down to The beach bungalow for tea and we took down all the new
crockery and utensils for the bungalow. It was lovely down there. Mary fell into
the water and got sopping wet so Mrs.Nash had to return hurriedly. We played the
gramophone after dinner till we retired to bed.
