Iris is still in bed but is a bit better. We all went
for a charabanc ride at 11 AM returned at 3 PM. We went to Bailey gate and
rambled round. We had our lunch on carts etc. near the charabanc.2 PM we were already on our way back. The drive was glorious. Nora took some grapes and oranges to Iris and after tea she took the Grammie up and played it. We had quite a good time there. Another girl Cina Strong was up there in bed too. So there were three of us (sounds like a "Ten Little Nigger Boys") We have a letter from uncle George and Mrs. Hawes.
