18 Friday (139-227)
Spent the morning in, except for the fruit buying and
little oddments. Went into Bournemouth to fetch Nora, arrived 15 minutes too early, had to amuse myself with Miss Haskell and Fluff.
I brought some toffees for the girls in Nora's door. We went into Bobby's and bought some
lovely cakes for tea then we both came home. We chatted after tea til Mrs. Nash
came home. After supper we went to the Hippodrome to see Mrs. 'Arris, a comedy.
It was a very funny show and well worth the money.
