10 Tuesday (10-356)
We received a letter from Tawney this morning. Iris went shopping this morning to get Jack and Cecil a present for their train journey.
We girls were promoted by the "Westfield" committee.
After dinner we went to Torre Station to see Jack and Cecil off to Bristol.
We have not been able to listen today as the weather is so bad that the broadcasting is very indistinct.
Mr Clerk came in the evening and set it right for us. We listened for the rest of the evening. We heard an interesting lecture on "Deep Sea Life"
