9 Monday (9-357)
Plough Monday. Christmas Fire Insurance ceases
We received a letter from Daddy this morning, and a Xmas card from the Doyles.
Iris went down to the "Electric" this morning to book tickets for "Johnny Get Your Haircut",
a Jackie Coogan film.
We went for a carriage drive this moring with Dorothy, Mr and Mrs Payton round by Babbacombe. It was a very enjoyable drive.
The show was quite good on the whole, but rather too short.
Later in the evening we listened to the wireless, to hear "The Blue Bird" It was very queer music so we turned it off.
